Laundry Soap Bar

Looking to ditch the toxic conventional laundry detergents? Handmade with care, the Simply Whole Laundry Soap Bar is made with 100% natural ingredients and contains no synthetic fragrances, dyes or essential oils making it perfect for those with sensitive skin! It can be grated and made into a powder or liquid laundry soap or use the bar as is to pre-treat stains & odors before washing! Due to the low amount of suds produced, this soap is safe to use in regular & HE washers. 

Conventional laundry detergents contain petroleum based cleaning ingredients that can be harmful to your family’s health. Some common ingredients in conventional laundry detergent include:

• Phosphates
• Petroleum distillates
• Dyes
• Synthetic fragrances

Using a natural laundry soap can reduce/eliminate the risk of toxicity for kids and pets and the potential for allergic reactions.

Unscented Ingredients: saponified oils of organic virgin coconut oil & organic olive oil 

Lemongrass Ingredients: saponified oils of (lemongrass infused) organic virgin coconut oil & organic olive oil

The Laundry Soap Bar can be used many different ways, saving you time & money!

Powdered Soap

Mix 1 lb. of baking soda & 1 lb. of Borax per 1 oz. of finely grated soap bar. Use 2 TBSP to 4 TBSP for HE washers or 4 TBSP to ½ cup for regular washers.

Stain Stick (Pre-treat)

Use a wet scrub brush to lather the soap and rub into stain or wet the soap and lather directly onto the stain. Let sit for approximately 15min. before washing. For odors, rub soap/scrub brush on area of concern and soak in warm/hot water with powdered soap for a few hours or overnight before washing.

Tips from Simply Whole:

We have tested this laundry soap bar in a powdered soap, liquid soap and as a stain stick. We have used the powdered soap directly in the washer's dispenser when washing in warm water and we completely dissolve the powder in hot water and pour directly into the tub when washing in cold water. 

The Laundry Soap Bar has worked well on stains and odors! For odors, we have pre-treated by rubbing the soap directly on areas of concern, then left the items to soak overnight in warm/hot water mixed with some powdered soap. Once they have soaked, wash as normal. For set in stains, treat the same as odors. Check out the pictures of the white shoes! They may not be perfect, but they had been that dirty for about a year!
